6,000+ Dolls Donated to Toys for Tots - "Buy a Doll Give a Doll" a HUGE Success!

The "Buy a Doll - GIVE a Doll" Campaign has been a wonderful SUCCESS! We donated 6,000+ Dolls to the TOYS for TOTS Program! THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT BOUGHT A DOLL and MADE THIS EFFORT SO SUCCESSFUL!!

Everyone here in the office pitched in to help in the send off of the dolls!! Toys For Tots collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. (Even our own Augey dog got in the act)


Phase 2 will now begin and the Charisma Offices, located at 9 Goddard, Irvine, CA, will be a Drop Off location for new unwrapped toys and monetary donations during the months of November and December! The dolls and toys collected in Irvine offices will then be delivered to Camp Pendleton, California in late December!!

So if you're in the area, drop off a new doll or a new unwrapped toy and make a child's Holiday EXTRA Special this year!

Marie, our birthday girl, who celebrated one day early, must believe it is better to give than to receive. Instead of getting a present from her brother Donny, she gave him a doll replica of himself, "Dancing Baby Donny!" Marie told him to give it to judge Bruno Tonioli so he can remember their impromptu smooch on last Monday's show. Donny responded, "I want to forget about that thing. Ray Ramano and our own Aisha Together on TV!

Marie Osmond dolls (specifically "Aisha,") will be featured props in a scene in the 5th episode of Men of a Certain Age starring RAY ROMANO, on January 12^th, 10pm TNT!

The scene involves Melissa (Owen's wife, played by LisaGay Hamilton) briefly discussing the dolls with Sonia (Joe's ex-wife, played by Penelope Ann Miller) where she mentions "how cute" they are. I've included a synopsis of the show below.

Men Of A Certain Age follows a trio of former college friends; now well into adulthood, whose lives haven't exactly panned out how they dreamed they would. RAY ROMANO stars as JOE: a slightly neurotic, divorced father of two who had aspirations of being a pro-golfer but now owns and runs a party store in the San Fernando Valley. ANDRE BRAUGHER plays OWEN: an overstressed and diabetic husband and father, who is a car salesman at his dad's dealership. Another HAPPY Collector!!

First off I have to say how beautiful you are and talented too!! I have enjoyed your music, and your family's and saw you live in Tecumseh, Ont, Canada at the Tecumseh Corn Festival about ten years ago could be more, hee,hee, but we won't say. Anyways, I received my first Marie Osmond doll today. I have been waiting a long time for one and she is like you said on QVC," gorgeous'. She is number 0402 out of a thousand.That chubby little face even impressed my husband and the porcelain is like silk. She is sitting up top on my fireplace mantel for now and is the focal point when you walk into my living room. I love everything about her, right down to the markings on her arms and legs and those cute chubby feet. I do have other dolls, but haven't bought any in 16 years, because I couldn't find one I liked until I tuned into TSC in Canada. I had to pay more for this one because I bought it at QVC and the s&h and money difference, because at the time on TSC, my hubby said you better not buy any, so I didn't and the next morning he said, Okay how many did you buy, and when I looked saddly at him and said none, he actually looked sad for me and said I could order one.

Well now he said I could order two for Christmas, so I am waiting in excitement for baby Steiner, and Baby Googlie!! If they are are beautiful as this baby Vivian, I am sure to be ordering more. Oh, and my mom got me start you up for Christmas and two sets of the baby tots, that are adorable including the tot Hershey's and Krackle. I live in pain everyday and on days when the pain is worse, just looking at my dolls perks me up some.Thanks again for being you, I just love your whit and charm and your as crazy as me about your dolls and I love that about you, cause everyone here including my daughters, just don't get Marie. Maybe one day I will be able to come see you at the Flamingo to see your show, for you to sign one of my dolls. May God continue to watch over you and your family. God Bless You.

Charisma Product Development - Helping Hands

Things have been really busy in Product Development at Charisma as we are all working hard to complete dolls and special projects for 2009 and are also busy working on the development of the 2010 collections. As you can see in the photo we have lots of pretty pink boxes stacking up, filled with Marie Osmond Dolls for a big 18th Anniversary August release and some extra special surprises yet to come this year.

It got so busy one day that we had to enlist the help of one of our "dolly" friends who happily pitched in to complete some last minute changes we had to make on a costume. Morning Star (who was praying for a quick finish) she looks much better in her Native American costume! "Dolly" friends are the biggest help! Don't you think?
Ok...back to work! Too much fun!
